J-Hoppers Kyoto Guest House is the first hostel of J-Hoppers Hostel Group. We have hostel in Hiroshima and Osaka. We are located on conveniently near Kyoto Station (8 minute walk from Shinkansen Hachijo East Exit). We can e-mail you more detailed access map to print out if you let us know.
There are variety of sightseeing spots nearby. For example;
-Toji = one of the most important temples for esoteric Buddhism. The big flea market is held on the 1st Sunday and 21days of the month.
-Fushimi Inari Shrine = a famous Geisha movie [Sayori] was shot at this place. A lot of red gates form a line here and there. You can view the whole of Kyoto from the top of the shrine.
-Tofukuji = a well-known temple for the beauty scenery in Autumn. Bright colors that the leaves of the trees show you is outstanding. And also it's famous as Karesansui (dry landscape gardens, also known as rock gardens and waterless stream gardens) made by Mirei Shigemori.
There is no curfew and check-out time is at 11:00. We keep your luggage when you come before check-in time.
