The Youth Hostel San Sisto-Due Torri in Bologna is part of the Hostelling International association of Hostels in Italy. The hostel offers guests an enviable and strategic base for getting to know the beautiful Bologna and see its many attractions. Bologna is also an excellent base for visiting Ferrara (45 km), Modena (40 km), Parma (95 km), Ravenna (75 km), Reggio Emilia (65 km), Rimini (112 km).
Our rooms have 2 to 6 single beds, no bunks. We have one room ensuite which is for disabled access, that we suggest you book in advance.
There are lockers in every room but you have to bring your own padlock.
Sheets and blankets are provided. You can rent towels at the cost of 1 each.
Toilets and showers are in the corridor and hot water is always available.
Check-out: 10:00 (rooms are closed from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. for cleaning) - Check-in: after 14:00
Common areas include: a TV room which also has tables, a reading room with couches, a breakfast room open from 7:30 to 9:30 and a big garden with volleyball, basketball, playground and many benches.
We offer our guests: internet WiFi, pizza delivery service, movie tapes you can watch for free, various games such as Jenga, Chess, cards, book-swapping, machines with hot and cold drinks. Bus tickets, national and international phone cards are sold.
We have no kitchen facilities.
Please note, if you are not a Member of Hostelling International there is an extra charge of 3 per person per night. Once you have stayed 6 nights at a HI Hostel you become a HI member, and no extra charges apply for future stays. For Italian people they must buy a membership individual card (6 ) valid one year from the day they buy it. For young people with less than 18 years it requires the written permission of parents
