Catch as many Swedish summer rays as you can before fall sets in! Particularly take advantage of all the outdoor cafés lining the pleasant walking streets of Malmö's shopping district. Stop by Konditori Casablanca at S Förstadsgatan 24, near the Triangel shopping mall, for a leisurely 'fika' (the Swedish word for coffee break). Order a tasty marzipan confection or a Katalan kaka (one of the many delicate, buttery cookies baked here) and take a seat outside to fully enjoy the unhurried quality of the late August sun. If a chill breeze or light shower catches you unaware, step inside and sip varm chocklad (hot chocolate), which come in tall, brightly-colored ceramic mugs and go very well with any of the enjoyable pastries.
