rss The Lowdown on Madrid, Spain.

December 18th, 2003 | The lowdown by Wensi Cámara

Introducing Spain.

Because we view experiences through our own eyes, how special a place is depends on how special you want that place to be. It all depends on your experience, on what you have felt. You may already know all about the climate, the food, and the people. The only suggestion I would give is for you to use all of your senses when you are here. It´s worth it.

Open your eyes toward the light – toward the sun that bathes Spain, even timidly during the wintertime. Enjoy the hues of a country colored with ancient cultures. Listen to the sound of the people talking joyfully in the bars, on the streets. Taste the good wine, the mediterranean meals. Caress the rough stones of old buildings. Savor the essence of the different seasons.

After all these, there are many of things to do, many places to visit. Spain is the ideal country to party, it´s ideal for sightseeing, and for meeting people.

The most important thing to do here is to open yourself to the experience of this beautiful country, and then, perhaps, Spain will be unlike any other place you have known.
