The Lowdown on Granada, Spain.

Granada Mail
It´s a small thing, but last week it occured to me that many people might be running around trying to find stamps to mail their postcards back home.
The obvious choice is to buy them at the central Post Office, located across from the Burger King on Calle Reyes Catolicos. The problem with this option is long waits and lines.
The best thing to do is go to a shop called "Tobacos," characterized by their brown signs with a yellow "T". There are a few of these shops along Avenida Gran Via de Colón. Buy your stamps there, and then deposit your outgoing mail in those retro looking yellow cylinders that dot the Granada streets. Finish your mail chores quickly, and leave the waiting to your dear grandma back home.
