rss The Lowdown on Granada, Spain.

Sunset

Here´s a little secret for you all: to watch the Granadinian sunset in a quiet and beautiful location, walk above the Alhambra, on the road that links the grand monument with the San Jose cemetary. When you come to a junction in the road, where to your left is a parking lot, behind you is the Alhambra, and ahead of you is the cemetery, stop.

To your right there is an olive tree grove with a trail heading diagonally through it. Go all the way to the end of the trail until you reach a ledge, then look right. There should be an abandoned terrace. Bring some wine, maybe a romantic evening picnic, and make sure to be there around 6. This is nature at its best.
