El Albayzin of Granada is a winding labyrinth of streets that can provide a tricky walk home after a late night. However, Makuto Backpackers Hostel provides shelter in this maze of white buildings in a chill, inviting atmosphere. Makuto is a very short walk from the Moorish shops, tapas bars, and Plaza Nueva. The staff was excellent, the environment was cozy, and there are hammocks in the sun for guests to enjoy.
