The Lowdown on Norwich, England.

The Waffle House.
Good food? At good prices? In England? Who would've thunk it? But yes, it is possible, and the place that does it is The Waffle House in Norwich. When I went with my friends into the city, we just haphazardly took any bus that came and got off on a quaint side street. We randomly decided to go into The Waffle House for dinner, and oh man, am I ever glad that we did.
The selection of food ranges from waffles to...well, waffles. But it's the toppings on it that make this place worth a visit. There is the savory menu which includes dishes like waffles covered in mushrooms in garlic sauce and waffles with hummus and avocado. These dishes are absolutely heavenly and you wouldn't think that it would go with a waffle, but I guarantee that one bite will change your mind.
For those that are a little less adventurous when it comes to waffles, there is the sweet menu, which offers just as many delicious options. Waffles with bananas and chocolate and the waffles with chocolate mousse are two of the many choices. (I'm getting hungry just thinking about it). But whatever your tastes, The Waffle House is sure to make your taste buds crave more.
A personal recommendation: Go for brunch, served until 12:30 daily. It's an incredible deal including waffles with either smoked salmon, ham, or fresh herbs, fried tomatoes and mushrooms, fresh squeezed orange juice, and a pot of tea of coffee all for around 6 pounds. Excellent food, even better prices. What more could you ask for?
So remember, when in Norwich, don't pass up the opportunity to have some of the most incredible waffles you may ever have at The Waffle House.
