There are two main movie theaters in Norwich: Ster Century and UCI Cinemas. It really shouldn't be that big of a decision when choosing which movie theater to go to; it's not that important, especially since both theaters often have different movies playing...

Norwich is a busy place, filled with thousands of things to do in the always bustling city center. However, because there is so much to do in town, there's a great deal of the city that is never discovered...

For students who might be looking for a place to house their parents while they visit Norwich, Edmar Lodge is a cute little Bed and Breakfast with great facilities, a reasonable price and a convenient location for visits to the UEA campus...

While Norwich is certainly a fantastic city with an impressive array of pubs and clubs to keep everyone busy on any given night, it must be said that the pubs tend to close especially early on every night of the week...

One of my first memories of being is Norwich is my first night going into town on a Sunday night. With no idea where I was or where to go, I wandered around looking for a place to eat, eventually coming across what is now one of my favorite places: Bella Italia...

You can't come to Norwich and not experience the oldest pub here. I was actually told that The Adam & Eve is the oldest pub in all of England, but I'm not quite sure if that's actually true or not...

It has already been established that Norwich cannot do Mexican food.
However, they seem to have done better with a country a bit closer - Spain.
'La Tasca' is a chain tapas restaurant...

If you're looking for a quality Italian meal, then Trattoria Rustica is the way to go. They have a wide selection of pizzas, risottos, pastas, and other specials that are served in pretty generous portions...

I was SO happy to leave Norwich for winter break. As much as I enjoyed being in England, I was definitely getting antsy in this relatively small town and ready to go and see some more of Europe. I was prepared to party and experience the joys of Spain and France for a good month...

I didn't want to go out that night, but my friends dragged me to go meet some of their other friends at this place called The Fat Cat. I was reluctant to go because of all the work I had to do, and I was just plain tired. I hadn't even heard of this place until that night.....

If you're looking for a cool place to get some great vegetarian food in Norwich, you've come to the right place. The Treehouse is an amazing little restaurant that has a cute, hippie-esque vibe. There is a menu that changes daily and you can get pretty large meals for a pretty good price...

Umm, yes. So, if anyone has ever tasted what real Mexican food is supposed to taste like, you will not appreciate what Pedro's Mexican Cantina defines as Mexican food...

One club that you will definitely hear about in Norwich, especially as a student, is Time. It is a fun club with a huge student crowd on Tuesdays (their advertisement is Time on Tuesdays). Their music tends to stick to mainstream cheese, but it's a good time for everyone anyway...

I've now been in England for exactly one month to the day and what a trip it has been. I think that I've gone through more changes in this one month than I've probably been through in the span of a whole year...

Now I know that Europe isn't into the whole hip hop thing as much as in the U.S., but I love hip hop and dancing to it. So you can imagine my excitement when I found an ad slipped under my door for The Light Bar, with the words "urban hip hop & r&b" plastered on the front of it...

So what's a student to do on a Monday or Tuesday night in Norwich? Well, if you're like every other breathing student here, you're going to be getting a pint somewhere. And if you're in the mood to chill out to some cheesy 70s music and other fun songs, The Prince of Wales is for you...

Good food? At good prices? In England? Who would've thunk it? But yes, it is possible, and the place that does it is The Waffle House in Norwich. When I went with my friends into the city, we just haphazardly took any bus that came and got off on a quaint side street...

Norwich, Before You Go, Culture
On the train from London to Norwich, I was giddy, excited, and nervous all at the same time thinking about finally getting to my school after being in London for so long. As soon as I got on that train, I could immediately tell that I was heading to a completely different sort of city...
