The Lowdown on Sihanoukville, Cambodia.

Outres Beach.
Outres beach seems to have appeared out of nowhere - a seemingly endless stretch of sand with little restaurants/bars popping up almost overnight. They hardly make a dent in the (knock on wood) relatively unspoiled area, but it looks like things are moving fast.
If you want to enjoy a truly peaceful 'tropical paradise' experience in Sihanouville, head on down to Outres before it's too late.
To get to Outres beach, ask a motodop to take you to the Queens Hill Bungalows.
Alternatively, rent a moto yourself and follow the road that runs parallel with Ocheateul beach until you reach the golf course. Turn left, then right, so you are driving parallel to both the course and the beach. When you get to the end of the golf course, follow the road towards the beach, and then left, again running parallel to the shore.
Eventually you will reach a little bridge with a cluster of fishing boats; keep heading on the road up the hill to the Queen's Hill bungalows and down the other side.
Feast your eyes. But don't blink - it's not going to last.
