The beach is lined with shady trees and small wooden family-run restaurants that serve Khmer staples as well as some basic 'western food'...

Outres beach seems to have appeared out of nowhere - a seemingly endless stretch of sand with little restaurants/bars popping up almost overnight. They hardly make a dent in the (knock on wood) relatively unspoiled area, but it looks like things are moving fast...

Holy Cow has been around for a few years, and after much consideration, I think it must be the best place to eat in Sihanoukville.
About halfway between the beach and town, off of Ekreach road (opposite Bamboo Lights), Holy Cow is a real testament to quality...

Well, what used to be the most interesting place to eat on Ocheateul Beach has upped and moved across the bay to Bamboo Island.
What a pity, given that I can only take too much bar-b-qued fish and green curry before I need something different...

The Golden Sands Hotel is a decent mid-range option if you want to stay close to Ocheteul beach in Sihanoukville. The hotel is modern and run very professionally...

Coaster's is by far one of the best places to stay on Serendipity/Ocehteaul beach these days.
