The Lowdown on Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

Rendez Vous Restaurant.
Rendez Vous is a meat lovers paradise, where the massive menu contains dishes like Chicken Cordon Bleu, Taco Salad, and Filet Mignon. Portions are huge, but try and save room for the blueberry pikelettes (pronounced 'piglets').
The restaurant is at the far north of the river-front, where there are fewer of the associated hassles, but it can get quite dusty as cars, trucks and motos barrel up and down the road just a few yards away.
Best of all, I can bring my vegetarian wife, who can happily gobble up many of the dishes on the menu which are vegetarian friendly, including the vegetarian lasagna.
Cold Angkor beer is on tap, and a meal that will leave you feeling full for a couple of days will cost between $5 and $7.
