The Lowdown on Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

Nature and Sea Cafe
I've known Stephane for a couple of years now, and he still is as quiet, friendly and unassuming as when I first met him. He does has another side to him though - one of the key expats living in Cambodia for all things music/dance/party and food related.
Stephane was one of the founders of Teukei (see article) and is a co-organizer of the infamous Bokor New Years Rave parties. He has a hand in just about everything here - importing strawberries from Vietnam, serving as a location scout / coordinator for films, DJ, and once again as a restaurateur.
Thank goodness for that. Stephane has a gift for creating low key, unassuming yet infinitely cool places to eat and drink. This latest endeavor, Nature and Sea, is a work in progress.
Now in a new location on the corner of street 51 and 278 (take the staircase up to the second floor rooftop patio).
The Lonely Planet have recently gotten their hands on Nature & Sea, and as a result it's getting busier and busier, which may cause problems due to the a small kitchen.
The food is simple and French - Super crepes, fish (and chips, a polite nod to the English, but the Italian Pesto fish is top notch) and salads, . Definitely try the strawberry/passion fruit shake or the strawberry milk shake - they're delicious.
